PROJECT BACKGROUND
Linear Composites is a manufacturer of reinforced plastic composite materials, first established by the renowned ICI (Imperial Chemical Industries). The production and marketing of these materials was undertaken by Linear Composites Ltd, founded in 1969 as a wholly owned subsidiary company of ICI In 2006, Linear Composites Ltd was acquired by Officine Maccaferri SpA to strengthen their geosynthetics global market presence.
PROBLEM AND REQUIREMENTS
The client sought a Clocking in system to enhance their Workforce Management capabilities. Their main objective was to introduce a Time and Attendance software to effectively monitor and manage employee working hours and attendance across the entire business. By introducing this kind of solution, they aimed to improve operational efficiency, ensure accurate time tracking, and streamline the attendance management processes.

SOLUTION
To meet the client’s needs a Kelio SAAS (Software as a Service) Time and Attendance system was implemented. This cloudbased solution enhances accessibility by allowing users to conveniently access the software from anywhere, at any time. It enables the client to accurately record both scheduled and completed working hours while also automating the calculation and transfer of variable payroll data. This includes
totals, absences, special hours, overtime, bonuses, and other time-related information, ensuring a streamlined and efficient payroll link.
“During the initial setup of the Kelio Time and Attendance system we had; in person direct support with the technician answering any questions on site. Follow up support was
enabled via the helpdesk – this was utilised a handful of times, to great success.”
